Since 1979, the International Committee for the Fellowship of the Least Coin (ICFLC) has gathered annually (in person and online) to receive the prayers and least coins of women and girls around the world working for justice, peace, and reconciliation.

The ICFLC’s responsibilities include:

  • reviewing and approving grant applications for grassroots projects for women and children, post-secondary education and training scholarships for older and younger women, and emergency relief in times of natural and human-made disasters;

  • receiving reports from grassroots projects that have received grants;

  • approving an annual budget and financial statements;

  • promoting the FLC within its ecumenical circles and region;

  • reporting back to ecumenical partners with information and resources on gender justice issues around the world; and

  • creating resources such as devotions, prayers, and liturgies for the FLC movement.
