• Project Grants have a maximum of 4500 USD. Thus, applications should not request more than 4500 USD, while also showing financial need for any amount that is requested.

  • The application should clearly indicate the amount of local fundraising, donations, and grants that have been requested and/or already received from individuals and other organizations (including non-cash gifts such as the use of space, materials, and facilitation).

  • An applicant cannot apply for a project in the same location in consecutive years. However, they may submit an application for the same project in a different location or community.

  • An applicant cannot receive project grants more than twice in ten years.

  • An application cannot be endorsed by an ICFLC member organization if it, its place of work, or its place of business will benefit from the project being funded (e.g. as a sponsor, organizer, facilitator, trainer, participant, or as the venue for the project).

  • An application cannot be endorsed or submitted by an ICFLC representative if she or her family members, colleagues, church, or place of business will personally benefit from the project being funded (e.g. as an organizer, facilitator, trainer, participant, or as the venue for the project).

TO APPLY:

  • Request a Project Grant Application from the ICFLC Member from your region.

  • Complete the application form (including a detailed budget).

  • Submit the completed application form to your national ecumenical organization for endorsement and signature.

  • Submit the completed and endorsed application to the ICFLC Member from your region.

  • Confirm that the ICFLC Member has submitted your application to the ICFLC Executive Secretary by June 30th.

IF APPROVED:

  • Within 1 year of receiving funds, applicants are required to provide narrative and financial reports on how the grant was used, and share photos of the project with the ICFLC Executive Secretary and the ICFLC Member in their region.

  • If the grant was not used for its intended purpose it must be refunded to the ICFLC.

  • A group in one country can apply for a project that is based in another country if the project is regional/international in scope and/or if there is an official letter indicating a collaboration with other organization(s)/country(ies).

  • All grant recipients are invited to participate in the FLC movement by praying for justice, peace, and reconciliation, and setting aside least coins, as well as sharing the FLC within their circles in the spirit of love and solidarity.

    *Since the International Committee for the Fellowship of the Least Coin (ICFLC) is made up of members from diverse backgrounds, nationalities, and languages, it is important that all applications, reports, and communication with the ICFLC shall be in English.
